Like our adult plans, Young DMP is divided into three formats, each of which benefits from our INNOVATIVE and flexible, comprehensive Worldwide Dental Accident and Emergency Insurance cover for under 18s.
YOUNG DMP REGISTRATION & RECALL (R&R)
This provides a simple registration scheme for parents who prefer to pay for their child's dental care on the 'pay as you go' basis but wish to access the protection of our Worldwide Accident & Emergency Insurance Cover.
Parents pay annually by cheque, direct debit or credit/debit card. It is a condition of the scheme that children covered by this plan attend an examination at least once per year and remain dentally fit.
YOUNG DMP FOUNDATION PLAN
Just like the adult plan, this is designed for diagnosis & prevention. It is extremely popular as it is perfect for young patients and/or dentists who don't wish to commit to our full comprehensive plan. This plan provides for an agreed number of examinations and oral hygiene sessions per year, together with radiographs.
Other treatment is paid for under the practice's private fee pay scale but often with a 'loyalty' discount. Using this scheme, children can be provided with the basis for good oral health.
YOUNG DMP COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
A fully comprehensive (capitation) plan for the under 18's which covers routine dental treatment, radiographs and oral hygiene appointments.
This plan works extremely well providing the patient is assessed correctly for the correct grade before joining the scheme.
The correct pricing of the grades can only be achieved when the required hourly rate of income is calculated in accordance with good practice.
